Sindh’s Anti-Corruption Establishment has expanded its investigation against PTI leader Jahangir Tareen and former Sindh chief minister Arbab Ghulam Rahim, among a number of others, and is now investigating alleged corruption in the Korangi Creek Industrial Park project in Karachi. It says it will get details.
The Anti-Corruption Establishment has summoned details from the National Industrial Parks Development and Management Company, such as the list of allottees, profit made and details of bank accounts.
It believes Tareen, who served as the industries minister at the same time as Rahim served as the provincial chief minister, were involved in corruption regarding 250 acres of land.
Korangi Creek Industrial Park was launched in in 2010 by the company’s then chief Zubair Habib. The park is spread across 250 acres of land.
