Gavin and Dan of the Slow Mo Guys are known for pulling off some pretty painful stunts. They’ve been shot with paintballs, had fruit smashed in their face, and risked getting burned by rockets and flames. The latest video might be their most painful yet, made all the more cringeworthy thanks to 4K slow motion. The guys set up a trampoline full of mousetraps before jumping down to their doom.
As with other pain-inducing videos, Dan is the one tasked with risking injury for the sake of views. There’s something completely relatable with Dan’s yelp of regret as he leaps from a nearby ladder onto the trampoline. While the pressure from one mousetrap snap can sting, they’re normally an annoyance to a human who steps on it. However, a thousand traps will certainly leave a lot more bruises.
Most impressive from the video was seeing the pressure from Dan’s impact trigger the surrounding mousetraps. The guys compared it to sound vibrations from a speaker cone.
Dan surprisingly said he found it “kind of comfy” and was more worried about hitting the trampoline. Sure, Dan, sure.

It was just recently confirmed that Dangal actress Fatima Sana Shaikh who played Aamir Khan’s daughter, has also been finalized for a pivotal role in the film.
The hunt for another actress is still on. It has been speculated that Katrina Kaif has been roped in for this big budget film. According to the reports, Aditya Chopra had loved Aamir Khan’s sizzling pairing with Katrina Kaif in Dhoom 3. The duo shared amazing chemistry in the film. It has also been learned that it was Salman Khan who recommended Katrina’s name to Aditya Chopra. It now seems like the film has landed on her lap.
Thugs of Hindostan is produced under the banner of Yash Raj Films. It is said to have a huge budget and is slated to release in Diwali next year. Apart from that, Katrina Kaif is gearing up for the release of Jagga Jasoos in July 2017. She is also starring in YRF’s Tiger Zinda Hai, a sequel to Ek Tha Tiger directed by Ali Abbas Zafar starring Salman Khan in the lead.

we had given you a glimpse of the TED Talks that Shah Rukh Khan gave in Vancouver after the actor was invited to share his inspirational journey with the audience. Amidst sharing his journey and while talking about the disadvantages of the fast growing internet, Shah Rukh Khan shared a rather shocking rumour that were doing the rounds about his son Aryan Khan that had left his family quite disturbed.
We all are aware that Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan became parents to their third child four years ago, AbRam. However, post the birth of AbRam, which was considered to be birth by surrogacy, there were several speculations and the high profile celebrity couple was subjected to extreme scrutiny.
From being trapped in a case regarding sex determination to moral policing revolving around surrogacy, the couple faced several setbacks. Amidst this, there were apparently reports claiming that AbRam was actually the son of Aryan Khan, Shah Rukh Khan’s eldest son who was then 15 years old.
Talking about the same, the actor said, “Four years ago, my lovely wife Gauri and me decided to have a third child. It was claimed on the net that he was the love child of our first child who was 15 years old. Apparently he had sown his wild oats with a girl while driving her car in Romania. And yeah, there was a fake video to go with it. And we were so disturbed as a family.”
While this incident had left many surprised as we wondered about the source of such reports on the net, Shah Rukh Khan mentioned that listening to these stories were indeed disturbing for them as a family. However, knowing his impeccable sense of humour he was quick to add, “My son who is 19 now, even now when you say ‘Hello’ to him, he just turns around and says, ‘But bro, I didn’t even have a European driving license’”.
Although the last bit was added in good humour, Shah Rukh Khan showcased the kind of effect that such maligning reports could have on one’s life.
Besides this, Shah Rukh Khan also shared some deeper insights about his life as he also spoke about how he is perceived as the Baadshah of Bollywood yet admitted about how he failed when it came to reinventing his image.
HUM Films and Mindworks Media Production hosted a special meet and greet session with the star cast and crew of the most anticipated and biggest action-packed thriller movie of Pakistani cinematic history Yalghaar, written, produced and directed by the showman Hassan Rana, who has previously produced box-office record-smasher Waar. Yalghaar is all set to hit theatre screens worldwide on Eid-ul-Fitr 2017 and the press conference also raised the curtain on the much awaited trailer of the movie amidst thunderous applause by the attendees.
Yalghaar boasts a stellar cast including the industry’s stalwarts Shaan Shahid, Humayun Saeed, Bilal Ashraf, Adnan Siddiqui, Ayub Khoso, Atiya Khan, Ayesha Omar, Sana Bucha, Armeena Rana Khan, Gohar Rasheed, Umair Jaswal, Uzma Khan, Ali Rehman and many others. The much-awaited trailer of the movie was also screened, after which the floor was opened for questions and answers.
Speaking about the film, Dr Hassan Rana said, “Yalghaar is a labour of intense passion, love and pain for me personally. I literally had to put my life on the line to get that one perfect shot, the reason was simple, to capture the true essence of my characters. Some people will love the film and some won’t, but one thing which I am sure is that my bosses (viewers) would not fault the efforts of my team and my actors. They have literally put their sweat and blood into it.”

L’Oréal Professionnel, the Parisian house of hairdressing, brought the global IT LOOKS for 2017 to Lahore on 19th April 2017 in collaboration with International Technical Consultant TarekRizk. The tailor made hair colors for the Spring Summer shows were Copper Foilyage and Nude Beige. Last year’s incredibly popular IT Girl and recently announced Local Spoke person for L’Oréal Professionnel Hareem Farooq walked the show sporting the Copper Foilyage along with model Rehmat Ajmal who was seen sporting the Nude Biege as the second IT Girl.
Featuring the hair looks for Spring/Summer, the idea wasto inspire salons to learn the high fashion, edgy and inspirational IT LOOKS for 2017. The event was held in Pearl Continental, Lahore.
The event was opened by Emaan Ahmad Brand Manager L’Oreal Professionnel Hair Color and TanzilaHashwani, Education Manager at L’Oreal Professionnel where she talked about the latest trends that came together to create IT LOOKS 2017. She spoke about how hair color is the new make-up and how the latest hair coloration trends are now inspired by make-up techniques like contouring, strobing amongst others. She then went to reveal the IT LOOKS 2017 with official images of HareemFarooq in Copper Foilyage and RehmatAjmal in Nude Beige followed by a short beauty film introducing IT LOOKS 2017.
TarekRizk took the stage after and went on to discuss international trends and them started a live demonstration by showing before images of models and then inviting them on stage to reveal their after looks followed by live styling and cutting before sending each model forward to walk down the ramp. The models with the same color family walked in pairs to demonstrate variations. The hair maestro styled 9 looks live on stage before inviting the IT GIRLS to the stage and styling their final looks before taking a grand final walk down the ramp with each IT GIRL on either side. Both IT GIRLS were dressed in Mango Pakistan which was the official wardrobe partner for the campaign.
The Copper Foilyage was created taking into account the fact that copper is the color of the season as spotted on the runways for Alexander Wang, Noon by Noor and Leanne Marshall. The colorists worked with a palette of red, gold and copper shades to sublime facial features and complexion. The Nude Beige has been inspired from the no make-up look trend that has taken the international fashion scene by storm as seen on ramp for designers like Dior, Chanel and Elie Saab who sent out their models in nude make up looks for a chic and natural effect.
The event was attended by multiple partnering salons like Asma T Salon, Ruby’s Splitends, Samya’s ,Amina Z. and Toni Guy amongst others. The event was also attended by social media bloggers from Lahore along with print journalists and broadcast channels.
The IT LOOKS Roadshows that kicked off in Islamabad on 17th April and continued in Lahore, will be followed by a final event in Karachi on the 24th of April 2017.

The refreshed 2018 Mercedes-Benz S-Class Sedan has been revealed ahead of its debut at the 2017 Shanghai auto show that begins this week. The German automaker’s flagship luxury limo comes in several flavors from the base model all the way to the top-spec AMG variants and this is the first major upgrade the sixth-generation S-Class has received since its launch in 2013. The mid-cycle refresh has brought subtle changes to the external design, but the revised Mercedes-Benz S-Class has undergone a massive transformation under the skin.
The Mercedes-Benz S-Class gets redesigned front fascia and revised headlights. The V12 model’s front grille is now standard across the lineup. At the back, there is a new rear bumper and new taillights. A choice of two new 20-inch wheels complete the changes on the outside. Inside the cabin, three new upholstery choices have been added including Silk Beige/Deep-Sea Blue, Magma Grey/Espresso Brown, and Mahogany/Silk Beige. The luxury sedan’s new three-spoke steering wheel and the new generation of the automaker’s COMAND multimedia system were revealed by Mercedes ahead of the launch.
A range of new engines have been added to the line-up. Under the hood, the S450 gets a new 3.0-liter V6 that makes 362 horsepower and 369 lb-ft of torque. The S560, on the other hand, gets a new 4.0-liter V8 which makes 463 horsepower and 516 lb-ft of torque and features cylinder deactivation to improve fuel economy. The S-Class AMG twins, the S63 and S65, benefit from new engines, transmissions, and an all-wheel drive system. Both the models have been given revised brakes, fresh wheels, a new exhaust system, adaptive sports seats, and performance apps built into the infotainment system. The cars get updated suspensions, with the S65’s based on Mercedes’ Magic Body Control.
Changes to the opulent Mercedes-Maybach line are minimal except for the Maybach logo making its way to the front grille. The biggest technological upgrade comes in the form of the brand’s latest Intelligent Drive suite of active safety and driver assistance tech. The automaker says the new features bring the S-Class closer to autonomous driving. There is no information on the pricing as of yet and it is expected to be revealed closer to its on-sale date in the U.S. in late 2017.
